Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She became the world's youngest champion in 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked among the top three athletes at her particular events.
