Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her talents. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She is oldest among three siblings. She was born to Peter Moore Smith who was an Army paratrooper. Her mother Anne is a psychotherapist. She's English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore has moved frequently with her family because of the duties that her dad was employed in. This was a challenge to keep or meet new friends. The family moved to Germany Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in plays. In 1983 she received a Master of Fine Arts at Boston University. After graduating, Moore moved to New York, where she began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore made the move into New York after graduating and started her professional career in off-broadway theater. In the episode The Edge of Night in 1985, she made her debut appearance on screen. In 1986, she was cast in two roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes on the show As the World Turns. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and brought her to successful career. She stayed on this show until 1988, when she was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was later described by her as a horrible low-budget movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) were among her works. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore received multiple nominations. Moore landed her first role as a lead with the film Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the most successful films of 1997, was a significant change in her career. She starred in Magnolia (1999) that received a favourable review which earned her a SAG nomination for her part. The Hours was her co-starring performance in 2002. it earned nine Academy Award nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Additional films Moore has appeared in includes The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) and Shelter (2010). Moore was a part of Non-Stop (2014). Moore was a regular on many films and television shows. The most recent of her prominent roles was In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. In Hollywood She has also become a published author for kids. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. It became a top selling book, then made into a TV series and musical. The author also released My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, the memoir of 2013. Moore is known as a well-known actor and a novelist. She married John Robin in 1984 and the couple divorced in 1995. They have two children together with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore is a woman who values her family and career.
